Bydand Construction Management Institute (“Bydand CMI”) provides online, self-paced construction management training. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Bydand CMI, and “you” means the person using the site.

Bydand CMI is not an accredited educational institution. We do not award degrees and we do not issue college credit. The certificates we issue record that you completed a course with us — they are not a licence, a qualification, or a substitute for any credential your jurisdiction or employer requires.

Our courses are educational material, not professional advice. Nothing here replaces a licensed engineer, architect, attorney, or safety professional. Construction work carries real risk. You are responsible for complying with the codes, regulations and safety requirements that apply to your job.

You need an account to take courses. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think somebody else has access to it. Accounts are for one person — if you need to train several people, we have team plans for exactly that.

You must be at least 16 to create an account on your own. Younger students are welcome through a parent, guardian or an organization account.

There are two different things on offer, and the difference matters:

Ownership. Single courses and the lifetime program are yours permanently. You keep them whether or not you ever pay us again.

Access. All-Access subscriptions give you every course for as long as the subscription is active. When it ends, that access ends. Anything you separately own is unaffected, and your progress and certificates are kept either way.

Membership. An Insider subscription does not open any paid course. It gives you early access to new material and holds the single-course price for as long as it is active.

Free-tier courses are yours permanently and cost nothing, ever.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you chose until you cancel, and you can cancel any time from your account page — cancelling stops the next charge and you keep access to the end of the period you already paid for.

Prices can change, but a change never applies to something you already bought outright, and we will tell you before a subscription renews at a new price.

Do not share your login, download or re-record the course videos, resell or redistribute the material, or use it to build a competing course. Do not try to break, scrape or overload the site.

The handouts are different — they are made to be used. Print them, mark them up, and use them on your jobs. Just do not repackage and sell them.

We own the courses, videos, handouts, and the site itself. Buying a course gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use it — not ownership of the content. Anything you write in your own notes stays yours.

You can request deletion of your account at any time from your account page. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms — typically sharing logins or redistributing content — and if we do that for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund what you have not used.

We work hard to keep the site available and the content accurate, but we provide it “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months.

If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will say so on the site and update the date at the top. Continuing to use Bydand CMI after that means you accept the new version.
